The hardWood Clip™ hidden fastening system meets the recommendations and requirements defined by the experts on wood deck board fasteners.*
- Screwing down of the board onto the joist, like in a traditional installation
- SPAX® screw with toe fillet for self-clamping of board to joist
- Screws and metal fastener components made of very high-quality A2 stainless steel
- Spacer integrated into the fastener for automatic and even spacing between boards
- Different spacer thicknesses available for board spacing based on the wood's moisture content at the time of installation
- Board reversibility to select the optimum board face (smooth or grooved if the board has both finishes) due to the symmetrical groove-cutting profile
- Bowed boards can be installed
- Single boards can be replaced
- Greater durability of the wood deck compared to an installation with visible screws (due to the elimination of multiple water retention points on the surface)
