hardWood Clip™ hidden fasteners are injection-moulded with a composite made of polypropylene and fibreglass.
Their extremely simple shape make the fasteners easy to mould, especially since they have no weak or brittle mechanical parts, which accounts for their quality, resistance and longevity.
The Extreme™ and ExtremeKD™ models have even more mechanical resistance due to the moulded stainless steel insert in the highest stress section, which means they can be used in extremely hot or cold temperatures.
The ExtremeKD™ fastener was designed for use with KD wood boards (kiln-dried or with a moisture content of <18% upon installation). The polyethylene-moulded fastener ensures maximum spacer elasticity and resistance that absorbs variations in board spacing due to contraction and expansion during dry and humid seasons.
